IEP or 504 Plan “At a Glance” with explanation

An “at a glance” plan is a summary of an IEP (Individualized Education Program) or 504 Plan that provides a quick overview of the accommodations and support provided to a student with a disability. It is typically a one-page document that outlines the student’s strengths, needs, goals, and accommodations in a concise and easy-to-read format.

At-a-glance plans can be useful for teachers and other educators who work with the student, as they provide a quick reference for understanding the student’s needs and how to support their learning. They can also be helpful for parents and guardians, as they provide an overview of the student’s educational plan and can be shared with other teachers or educators who may not have access to the full IEP or 504 Plan.

At-a-glance plans should be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure that they accurately reflect the student’s current needs and progress. They are typically developed and implemented by a team of educators and the student’s parents or guardians.
