Back to School - IEP/504 Review Special
The Parent Advocacy Center is currently scheduling complete reviews of your child’s IEP, evaluations, and student educational records by an experienced special education advocate. We look for compliance and timeline issues, reasonably calculated goals and the overall effectiveness of the IEP, goals, services and accommodations.
Are you concerned your child’s IEP is not adequate?
Is the IEP meeting their educational needs? Do you feel your child's school district does not share your concern?
We're here to help!
Parent Advocacy Center is now offering an IEP/504 & document review service, just in time for back to school!
Did your child struggle last year?
With little to no academic progress despite having an IEP with academic goals?
We're here to help!
We look at your student’s current IEP or 504 plan and make recommendations based on years of proven academic and transitional success.
IEP/504 "At a Glance" Review
An “at a glance” plan is a summary of an IEP (Individualized Education Program) or 504 Plan that provides a quick overview of the accommodations and support provided to a student with a disability. It is typically a one-page document that outlines the student’s strengths, needs, goals, and accommodations in a concise and easy-to-read format.
How we can help.
Additional Evaluations
Have all areas of your student’s need been identified and contain appropriate goals or objectives?
Relevant & Measurable Goals
We look for compliance and timeline
issues, reasonably calculated goals, and the overall effectiveness of the IEP, services and accommodations.
Accommodations
Is your child's level of service, and support appropriate? Do you need a second opinion?
Here's how it works
1. Answer a series of questions
Tell us about yourself, and your child. Voice any concerns you have with their education, and what you’ve previously tried or requested.
2. We'll review your child's records
Everything from grades, and transcripts, to health records and disciplinary files. We use this information to form a more complete view of your child’s education, and build a case for requesting accommodations.
3. Develop a comprehensive plan
We’ll use your student’s records and the information gathered from you and their school, to form a comprehensive educational plan, using SMART Goals as a guiding framework.
4. We monitor implementation
PAC works closely with your student’s school to ensure ALL outlined agreements are implemented in a timely manor.
